BRASS & PORCELAIN TABLE LAMPS
Translucent porcelain shades on solid brass bases, these lamps elevate basic geometric forms with refined materials and craft. The translucent porcelain gives a soft, warm glow. The circle and square make a mismatched yet elegant pair.

CAST CONCRETE & ALUMINUM LAMPS
Designed as an exploration of familiar primary forms in new materials and of the interplay between darkness and light. A pyramid shade on a cube base was cast in concrete and a cone shade on a cylinder base was cast in aluminum.

“lU” LAMP

The collaboration with Lera was inspired by a common interest in the quality and beauty of porcelain and by a common attraction to classical forms and the iconic objects of everyday life. Together we have created an object that has a friendly, familiar feeling while still possessing a minimalist elegance.
The name “lu” was taken from the shapes which form the lamp: a rectangle and dome which resemble the letters “l” and “u”. Stacked together, the shapes form a classic lamp composition and plays with that icon and the balance between two simple forms.
